Section 6: The Treasurer
  1. The Treasurer shall be appointed by the Council.

  2. The Treasurer shall hold office for three years from appointment and shall be eligible for re-appointment but shall not normally hold office for more than nine years.

  3. If the office of Treasurer become vacant by death or resignation or any other cause before the expiration of the current period of office the Council shall forthwith appoint another Treasurer for the remainder of such period.

  4. The Treasurer shall perform such duties as may be determined by the Council.

  5. The Treasurer may resign by writing addressed to the Secretary of the Council.
