1. Course requirements
   As for Single Honours English, plusA-level Spanish or equivalent

2. Unit courses
   Year 1: EN102, EN110; SP193 or SP194; one set of ML/SP linked units (2 units in total)
   Year 2: 4 EN units (one of which must be EN20D if you are taking your compulsory Final Year dissertation in the English Department); SP194 or SP195, 2 SP units (1 SP unit may be replaced by an ML unit)
   Year 3: SP399 (project)
   Year 4: 4 EN units; SP196 or SP197, 2 SML units of which at least one must be SP

3. Special requirements
   Year 3 will be spent abroad. (Part-time students will normally be expected to spend a total of 3 months in a country where the language is spoken nationally).
