1. Course requirements
   GCSE Spanish or Portuguese normally required.

2. Unit courses
   Year 1: AY112, AY113, 2 AY units; SP193 or SP194 and one set of ML/SP linked units (2 units in total)
   Year 2: 4 AY units; SP194 or SP195, 2 SPunits
   Year 3: SP399 (project)
   Year 4: AY399 (dissertation); 2 AY units; SP195 or SP196 or SP197, 2 SP units

3. Special requirements
   As for Single Honours Archaeology. Year 3 will be spent abroad. (Part-time students will normally be expected to spend a total of 3 months in a country where the language is spoken nationally.)
