1. Course Requirments
   A-level Spanish or equivalent.

2. Unit courses
   Year 1: SP193 or SP194; ML109, SP139; one set of ML/SP linked units (2 units in total); 2 further units
   Year 2: SP194 or SP195, ML209, ML219; 2 Language-related SP units; 2 further SP/ML units, one or both of which may be replaced by Alternative Subject units
   Year 3: SP399 (project)
   Year 4: SP196 or SP197; 2 Language-related ML units; 2 Language-related SP units; 2 further SP/ML units, one or both of which may be replaced by Alternative Subject units

3. Special requirements
   Year 3 will be spent abroad. (Part-time students will normally be expected to spend a total of three months in a country where the Language is spoken nationally).
