The Vice-Chancellor and all Professors Readers Lecturers and other salaried Officers of the University shall vacate their office on the 30th day of September following the date on which they attain the age of 65 years unless the Council by a vote of at least two-thirds of the number of members present shall request any such Officer to continue in office for such period as it shall from time to time determine.
