A small number of candidates a year may be allowed to pursue a part of their studies abroad by agreement under a Link scheme with Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chausses, Paris (ENPC), with Ecole Nationale du Genie de l'Eau et de l'Environnement de Strasbourg (ENGEES) or with the University of Darmstadt (TUD). Such students will be required to reach a satisfactory standard in the appropriate language by the end of their third year. The course will differ as follows:

Part III
Candidates must take a language option (LC316 or LC326) appropriate to the language of the academic institution that they will visit. Plus a total of 30 credits from the Civil Engineering option lists.
