Regulations for the Schools of the Faculty:
Economics and Econometrics
  1. Course requirement: Advanced level pass, or equivalent, in an approved mathematical subject.

  2. In the first year (Part I) eight subjects will be studied and examined as follows:

    Semester one:
    ST111, MA101, an approved Economics unit.
    Semester two:
    EC102, ST106.

    Both Semesters:
    3 units from Social Sciences list (excluding AM108, AM109, EC105-EC108, EC112, EC114, ST107)

  3. Year 2

    EC221, EC222, EC227, EC228, plus four units from EC2** units or Social Sciences list (excluding AM210) (excluding EC229)

  4. Year 3

    EC363, EC368, EC369, EC374, either Contemporary Problems in Economics Paper (1 unit) (EC390) or Dissertation/Project (2 units) (EC398/399), and the remaining number of units from units numbered EC3**.

  5. Up to two of the optional units in Years 2 and 3 taken together may be drawn from the approved list of units other than EC units.
