1. Year 1 - Last entry 2002

2. Year 2 - eight subjects will be studied and examined as follows:

Semester one:
POLI2006, SOCI2010 (double unit) + 1 unit from POLI2005, INTR2001, POLI2002

Semester two:
POLI2007, STAT2009 + 1 unit from Politics unit list + 1 unit from Sociology unit list

It is advised that if you are thinking of doing the Sociology Dissertation that you take SOCI2009 as your Sociology option or in lieu of your Politics option. Please consult your tutor if you have any queries.

3. Year 3

Semester one:
SOCI3002

Both semesters:
+ 3 units from POLI/INTR list (Units cannot be chosen if the corresponding unit was taken in year 2)

+ 2 units SOCI list (in any given year units SOCI3003/SOCI3004 - SOCI3012/SOCI3013 will be taught in either semester 1 under their odd numbered code or semester 2 under their even numbered code. When offered in semester 2 they can be taken with the appropriate co-requisite semester 2 unit of the same title followed by the numeral 'II')

+ Dissertation (double units) (POLI3016/SOCI3019)

A unit may be chosen from the Social Sciences list in lieu of an optional unit.
