  1. The following persons shall be Members of the University:

    The Members of the Court

    The Members of the Council.

    The Members of the Staff of the University holding appointments of at least one year's duration.

    The Emeritus Professors.

    The Graduates of the University and those holding Diplomas awarded by the University.

    The undergraduates, postgraduates and other students pursuing approved courses of study within the University.


  2. Membership of the University shall continue so long as one at least of the qualifications above enumerated shall continue to be possessed by the individual Member.


  3. The Council on the recommendation of the Senate shall have power to declare such other persons Members of the University as it shall deem fit.
