Terms of reference
  1. To advise the Senate of the University of Southampton and equivalent bodies in the other Universities with student members of the Units, of matters relating to the University Royal Naval Unit, the  non-academic aspects of the Defence Technical Undergraduate Scheme, the Officer Training Corps, the University Air Squadron, and to act as a liaison committee between the University and these units

  2. To encourage co-operation with other service units in the area.

  3. To represent the University in the activities of the Council of Miltary Education Committees.

  One representative of the Students' Union
  One student representative from each of the service units
  Director of Studies (RN), Defence Technical Undergraduate Scheme (DTUS)

Note: Representation from participating universities other than the University of Southampton is determined on a basis proportional to the number of students from each institution participating in Unit activities, on the following sliding scale:
